A great inauguration of Good Practices Forum is behind us!

On 25-26th October in the Exhibition & Congress Centre Targi Kielce S.A. the Future Private Labels fairs took place, dedicated to own brands. They gathered as many as 70 exhibitors from seven countries. Apart from Poland, their projects presented exhibitors from Russia, Italy, Ukraine, Czech Republic, Germany and Hungary. Within two days, 800 industry professionals have visited the fairs.

For many entrepreneurs and visitors, on 120 m2 of surface, Good Practices Forum prepared a workshop and consulting space.

We have invited for cooperation the biggest names in the Polish branding and design industry. The lectures were given by: Wojciech Mierowski (creative director and partner of Brand New Attitude agency, who has prepared, among other things, the latest corporate identification of Żabka store chains, EB beer or Onet site), Jacek Sadowski (President of Demo Effective Launching, the author of spectacular market successes such as the Tiger Energy Drink brand, Hej milk and Jurassic water), Maciej Konopka and Jakub Śwircz (partners of Brandy Design agency, responsible for corporate identity of Cider Lubelski, Magne B-6 food supplement or Lubuski gin), Dawid Korzekwa (President of the Association of Applied Graphic Designers, the largest organization in Poland gathering the top graphic designers).





The listeners have learned many secrets and stories behind the success of the biggest Polish brands. Tireless and extremely inspirational Wojciech Mierowski took us for over three hours in his rich world of philosophical reflections, experiences and insights. In addition to a number of practical branding tips, he has helped us to understand that behind every great success, regardless of the field, should be wisdom, broad knowledge of the world and an understanding of the essence of culture and society. There were also anecdotes from the beginning of the Polish branding industry, which our speakers were co-authors. Jacek Sadowski talked about how he became the pioneer of the meat industry branding, in which it previously seemed superfluous, and the competition was only at the price level. Pioneering experience also shared with us Maciej Konopka and Jakub Śwircz, who have won in the minds of Polish society the recognition and respect for forgotten alcohol – cider.

After the lectures our specialists, at the consultative stands of Good Practices Forum, gave advice on the creation of corporate image and products as well as on the management of the company in the face of market entry. The consultations aroused great interest.



We have also carried out surveys on image awareness among business owners. Our research has revealed that more than half of entrepreneurs expressed their readiness to change their image. The vast majority of them have already made such attempts and they have achieved positive results. All respondents were unanimous that the image on the market was of great importance and could help increase the company’s profits. In addition, products should stand out from the competition. As for graphic design services, the sentences were divided. Half of the entrepreneurs admitted that they work with professional image-creation companies, while the other half said that this services were too expensive. Our goal was to broaden their awareness and debunk the myths.




As part of the fairs, we launched not only the project itself. There was also presented one of its key components – our website – www.fodop.pl, and the first of a series of interviews with entrepreneurs whose investment in the image contributed to the success. The interview with the Managing Director of Scandinavia Yachts, Piotr Kowalczyk, and the promotional film about the project were displayed on the screens prepared for this purpose.
